Kangnam Korean BBQ: Experience Authentic Korean BBQ Bliss in San Diego

On the search for the best korean barbecue around and this place is definitely on the top of my list! Love the variety of meats and also sides. The meat was really flavorful and the sides were amazing. Only flaw I had with the place was their lack of good sauces. Place is very clean and was ran smoothly. Would definitely see myself coming back soon!

Our family of 6 came by after an event and the food was quick and delicious. Service from Vi was excellent and she was attentive and efficient as she cared for our table and the neighboring tables with kindness and a smile. We’ll definitely be back.

Kangnam Korean BBQ – 4 Stars Had a great dining experience overall! The meats were flavorful, the sides were fresh, and the service was friendly and attentive. The only downside for me was the kimchi — it was a bit too saucy and lacked that traditional crispness and tang that makes Korean BBQ complete. We came at a great time so the wait was not bad at all. We did experience a lot of our orders not coming out on time or at all even though it was not busy. So why the 5 star review despite these problems, it was because of our AMAZING SERVER, her name was VI. She was so patient and super nice and apologized for other people’s mistakes even though she did not have too. Thank you so very much VI. They need to hire more people like VI!

This place is amazing, and I went there multiple times. My love for Korean Barbecue may have influenced my opinion, but the quality of the food and service was truly exceptional. Plus, their special lunch menu offered great value for the price!

My fav Korean BBQ in North County. And I know Korean quite well having lived there several years and worked for a Korean company. The service staff is pleasant and responsive, quick to fill requests, and seem engaged in their work. Lunch special is awesome, priced well, with a full menu. The food quality remains high, with a variety of excellent choices. Busy in late evening, but the atmosphere is fun. A little noisy, but this is the ambiance of a typical Korean Restaurant. Competes well with anything on Convoy Street.

We get here at 6.30 and it’s was a perfect experience to get acquainted with korean barbecue. Our waitress was Riley she did such a good gob with recommending best item and giving us the tips for the cooking so we didn’t get lost. I will come back only to be served by her and of course the quality of the food was on the best level!!
